Festival Portable Restroom & Toilet Rentals
From a few hundred guests to tens of thousands, we size, deliver and service the restrooms your festival needs, for one day or several.
Sizing by attendance · Luxury trailers and toilet/shower combos · Servicing throughout the event
How many porta potties does a festival need?
Start from the guideline we use on every VIP page: one unit per 50 guests for a 3 to 4 hour event. A festival runs longer than that, so for a full festival day plan one unit per 40 to 50 attendees, and add more for alcohol service, hot weather and camping.
Hand washing: one station for every 2 to 4 toilets, plus one at each food area. Trailers: one stall for every 50 to 75 guests in the area it serves. We add wheelchair-accessible units to every plan. For other event types, see our guide to how many porta potties you need.
Our most popular festival rentals
Standard porta potties with hand washing stations
The cost-effective choice for most of the grounds. Pair standard units with hand washing stations so attendees can wash with soap and water. Hand washing prevents the spread of illness in a crowd, and food and beverage areas usually need it.
Porta potties with a sink
A non-flushing toilet, a foot-pump sink and a urinal in one unit, for areas where comfort and hygiene matter.
Festival restroom trailers
Multi-stall luxury restroom trailers, such as the 10-stall UltraLav, mean shorter waits, air conditioning and heating, and real finishes. A good fit for VIP and backstage areas.
Toilet and shower combo trailers
For festivals with camping on the grounds. A toilet and shower combo trailer lets campers refresh during a multi-day event.
We schedule regular pump-outs and restocking throughout your event to keep units clean, stocked and odor-free for the whole run. For VIP areas you can add restroom attendants.
Planning festival restroom placement
Where restrooms go matters as much as how many you rent. A good layout keeps lines short, keeps service trucks moving, and keeps every attendee within a short walk of a clean unit.
- Spread units in banks near entrances, each stage, food and beverage areas, and camping, so no one crosses the whole site to find a restroom.
- Give VIP and backstage areas their own restroom trailers, so performer and VIP traffic stays off the general admission lines.
- Put accessible units on firm, level ground at every bank, on the main route, with clear signs.
- Leave service lanes. Pump trucks need a clear path to every bank so units can be serviced between sets or overnight.
- Light the paths to every bank for evening sets and overnight camping.
- Plan camping on its own. Campers use restrooms most in the early morning and late at night, so add units and toilet and shower combo trailers close to campsites.
Send us a site map with stages, food areas, camping and entry points, and we’ll plan placement and servicing around it.
