About
Satellite Suite Portable Restroom & Shower Trailers
The 28 FT Satellite Suites is the answer when you need restrooms and showers and do not want to rent two trailers to get them. It can be configured as restrooms only, showers only, or a combination of both in the same unit.
That flexibility is the whole point. Multiday festivals, film and production crews, disaster response and long running job sites all need washing facilities as well as restrooms, and splitting those across two trailers costs you money, footprint and two delivery slots.
Configuration
This unit comes in multiple stall combinations, and the interior finish varies between trailers. Tell us how many people you are serving and whether you need showers, restrooms or both, and we will confirm which configuration is available for your dates and what the layout looks like.

Showers Change the Water Planning
A shower consumes far more water than a flush does, and it consumes it continuously rather than in short bursts. That single fact drives most of the planning around this trailer.
It is why the unit requires a local water hookup rather than running from onboard tanks. Tank capacity that would carry a restroom only trailer through a full event day empties quickly once people start showering, so a continuous supply is the practical requirement, not a preference.
It also changes the waste side. Everything that goes in has to go somewhere, and shower water fills a waste tank faster than flushing alone. On a longer rental that is usually what sets the servicing schedule.
The practical questions to answer before booking are how close the water supply is, whether the power supply can carry the trailer’s demand alongside everything else on site, and how many people will realistically shower per day rather than how many could.
Long Rentals
Long rentals behave differently from event rentals, and this unit suits them for reasons worth spelling out.
Usage becomes steady rather than peaked. An event has one or two rushes and then goes quiet. A camp or a crew produces roughly the same demand every day, which makes the servicing schedule predictable and worth setting properly at the start instead of adjusting later.
Showers are what make a combination unit worth it on a long booking. Where people are working in heat or dust, or handling materials they need off them at the end of the day, a shower does something no number of standard restroom units will do. It is also the difference between a site people tolerate and a site people stay at.
Site conditions change over a long rental in ways they never do over a weekend. Ground that carried the trailer in dry weather can be a problem for the service truck a month later, so keep the approach route in mind for the whole booking rather than just for delivery day.
Tell us the headcount, how long you need it and how many people will realistically shower each day. We will set the servicing schedule against that and build it into the quote rather than leaving it to be discovered. Bookings of this shape usually run as long term rentals.
How It Compares
The 3-Stall UltraLAV restroom and shower combo is the smaller version of the same idea and suits a crew or a modest event. Choose the 28 FT Satellite Suites when the numbers are larger or the rental runs for weeks rather than days.
If you need accessible showering specifically, the ADA +2 UltraLAV is built to that specification and this trailer is not.
If you need capacity but no showers at all, compare the 10-Stall Satellite Suites and the 10-Stall UltraLAV instead.
Choosing Your Configuration
Because this unit can be built three ways, the first decision is not which trailer but which shape of it. Three situations cover most bookings.
Restrooms only. You already have washing facilities on site, or nobody is staying overnight. At that point you are choosing this unit for its size and finish rather than for the showers, and it is worth comparing it against the ten stall trailers before you commit.
Showers only. There are permanent restrooms on site but nowhere to wash, which is common at venues with a building and at sites where the restroom problem was solved months ago and the shower problem was not.
Both. Nothing on site, people staying more than a day. This is where the combination earns its keep, because the alternative is two trailers, two pitches and two deliveries.
Tell us which of those three you are in and roughly how many people, and we will confirm which configuration is available for your dates.
Specifications
- Length: 28 feet
- Configuration: restrooms, showers, or a combination of both
- Stalls: available in multiple stall combinations rather than one fixed layout
- Interior finish: varies between trailers
- Water: one garden hose bib with a continuous supply. Showers draw water continuously and in far greater volume than flushing, so a continuous supply matters more on this unit than on any other we rent.
- Power: one to four standard 110v outlets depending on the unit, each on its own dedicated breaker. Up to 30 to 50 amps to run all amenities. A generator can be used, supplied by the customer. Not GFCI outlets.
Booking One
Which configurations we can get to you varies by area and by date, so we need both before we can answer. A 28 foot trailer also needs a genuine approach, so describe the route in as well as where it will stand.
Restroom trailers start from $1,000. For this unit, configuration and servicing frequency matter as much as how long you keep it, which is why we will ask how many people will realistically shower each day rather than how many will be on site.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I rent it as showers only?
Yes. It can be configured as showers only, restrooms only, or a combination of both.
How many stalls does it have?
It is available in multiple stall combinations rather than one fixed layout, and the interior finish varies between trailers. Tell us your numbers and we will confirm what is available for your dates.
Why does it need hookups when other trailers do not?
Showers use water continuously and in far greater volume than flushing, so a continuous supply is required rather than onboard tank capacity.
How often does it need servicing on a long rental?
That depends on how many people shower each day rather than on the length of the booking alone. Send us your numbers and we will set the schedule against real usage and build it into the quote.
Can it stay on site for months?
Yes. Tell us the length of the booking and we will set the servicing schedule against your actual daily usage, and keep the approach route in mind for the service truck as well as for the delivery.
