How Much Does a Restroom Trailer Rental Cost?

Restroom trailer rentals start from $1,000. Where your quote lands above that depends on five things: how many stalls you need, how long you need it, whether it is an event or a long term placement, how far we are delivering, and what servicing you want while it is on site.

We quote every job individually because those five things move the number more than anything else, and a trailer for a Saturday wedding and a trailer parked on a job site for six months are not the same rental. Tell us the dates and the location and we will give you a real number, not a range.

What Changes the Price

  • Number of stalls. This is the biggest single factor. Trailers are built in fixed configurations, and the jump from a 2 stall to a larger unit is a jump in equipment, not just capacity. Size the trailer to your guest count and your event length, not to the biggest unit available.
  • How long you need it. A weekend event rental and a monthly placement are priced on completely different structures. Event rentals cover delivery, the event window and pickup. Long term rentals are priced monthly and factor in regular servicing. If you need a trailer for more than a few days, say so up front, because it usually changes which structure applies.
  • Event or long term site. Weddings, festivals and corporate events are short window rentals where setup timing and appearance matter. Construction sites, film productions and facility projects are longer placements where durability and service schedule matter. Same category of equipment, different pricing model.
  • Delivery distance. Delivery is quoted separately and depends on how far the trailer travels from the nearest servicing location. We work through local operator partners nationwide, so a trailer going to a metro area we cover directly costs less to deliver than one going somewhere remote. Your ZIP code is the fastest way for us to tell you which you are.
  • Site utilities. If your site has water and power, you have the full range of options. If it does not, you need a self contained unit instead, and that narrows what is available. This decision usually gets made by the site rather than by preference.
  • Season and timing. Spring and summer weekends are when trailers go first. Booking late in peak season usually means taking what is still available rather than what you actually wanted. Four or more weeks out is the right window for a peak weekend.

Trailer Pricing Compared to Porta Potties

Restroom trailers start from $1,000, well above what a standard portable restroom costs. See porta potty rental prices for that side of the range.

That gap is not arbitrary. A trailer is a towable structure with plumbing, climate control, lighting and multiple private stalls, and it needs a truck and a trained crew to place and service it. You are renting a different product, not a nicer version of the same one.

What Is Usually Included

Every quote spells out exactly what is covered, but a standard restroom trailer rental typically includes delivery, placement and setup, pickup and removal at the end of the rental, the trailer stocked and ready to use on arrival, and a walkthrough of hookup requirements before delivery day.

Quoted separately: delivery beyond the standard service radius, pumping and restocking on longer rentals, janitorial service or on site attendants, and generator or water supply where site utilities are not available.

Sizing Before You Price

The fastest way to get an accurate quote is to know roughly what you need. Guest count and event length together determine stall count, and stall count drives most of the cost. If you are not sure, our sizing guide walks through it, or tell us your headcount on the quote form and we will size it for you.

Why We Quote Instead of Publishing a Price List

Restroom trailer pricing is genuinely local. The same unit costs different amounts in different markets because delivery distance, local servicing costs and seasonal demand all vary. A published national price would be wrong for most people who read it, and we would rather give you a number you can budget against than one you have to caveat.

Restroom Trailer Pricing FAQs

How much does a restroom trailer rental cost?

Trailers start from $1,000. Your actual quote depends on stall count, rental length, delivery distance and servicing. Send us your details and we will give you a firm number.

Is a restroom trailer more expensive than porta potties?

Yes. A restroom trailer is a climate controlled unit with flushing toilets, running water, sinks, lighting and interior finishes. It is a different product at a different price point. If budget is the deciding factor and the setting allows it, standard portable restrooms cost considerably less. Our trailer versus porta potty comparison covers the trade-off.

Do you charge for delivery?

Delivery is quoted separately and depends on distance from the nearest servicing location. It is included as a line item in your quote, never added afterward.

Do I need power and water on site?

It depends on the unit. Some trailers need hookups and others are self contained. Tell us what is available at the site and we will match you to something that works.

Do ADA trailers cost more?

Accessible units are larger, so they price above a standard unit of the same stall count. Include your accessible count when you request a quote and we will price it together rather than adding it afterward. See ADA and accessible restrooms.

What is included in the rental price?

Delivery, placement, setup, pickup and the unit stocked on arrival. Servicing, extended delivery and add ons like attendants are quoted separately and shown as line items.

How far in advance should I book?

Four or more weeks for peak season weekends. Trailers are the first thing to go. Our restroom trailer rental guide covers the rest of the booking process.

Do you serve my area?

What does the rental price cover?

Covers delivery, setup, pickup, standard cleaning, restocking of toilet paper and sanitizer. Additional servicing or extensions may involve extra fees.

Do you offer daily or long-term rentals?

Yes. While our base prices are based on weekend rentals (48–72h), we also offer flexible daily or extended services—just ask for a custom quote.

Why does pricing vary by location or unit type?

Differences stem from site location, unit features (like sinks or flush systems), and scheduling complexity. Our ranges reflect national averages updated regularly.

How much does it cost to rent a porta potty for one day?

A single standard porta potty for a one-day event typically falls in the $150–$175 range, because delivery, setup, and pickup are the main cost drivers regardless of length. Upgraded flushable or deluxe-sink units run $200–$425. For multi-day or recurring service, ask about discounted daily rates.

How much does it cost to rent a porta potty for a month?

Monthly rentals — common on construction sites — are billed at a lower effective daily rate than short event rentals and usually include regular weekly servicing (pump-out and restock). Standard monthly units commonly run from the low-to-mid hundreds depending on servicing frequency and location. Request a quote for exact monthly pricing in your area.

How much does a luxury restroom trailer cost to rent?

Luxury restroom trailers start as low as $1,000 per weekend/event, depending on size, features (climate control, running water, interior finishes), and service level. Shower and toilet combo trailers are quoted the same way.

How much should I budget for a wedding or special event?

Most weddings use either upgraded flushable units ($200–$425 each) or a luxury restroom trailer (from $1,000). Also budget for delivery, attendant service for large guest counts, and hand-washing stations ($150–$250 each).

How many porta potties do I need for my event?

A common guideline is one standard unit per ~50 guests for a 3–4 hour event, with additional units for longer events, alcohol service, or sites with no nearby restrooms. Tell us your headcount and event length and we’ll size the order for you.

What additional costs should I plan for?

The base ranges cover delivery, setup, pickup, and standard cleaning. Additional costs can include extra servicing or pump-outs for multi-day use, ADA-compliant units, permits for some public locations, holiday or rush delivery, and long-distance delivery outside standard service areas.
