Restroom trailers are what people mean when they say they want something better than a porta potty. Flushing toilets, running water, climate control, real mirrors and private stalls, close enough to an indoor bathroom that most guests stop thinking about it, which is the whole point.

VIP Restrooms rents trailers from 2 stalls up to 10, nationwide, through established local operators. One point of contact, one invoice, wherever the site is.

How to Choose a Size

Stall count matters more than square footage. A 2 stall handles a backyard wedding or a small crew. A 3 or 4 stall covers most private events up to a couple of hundred guests. An 8 or 10 stall is what keeps lines moving at a festival, a large wedding, or a long running production.

The other question is utilities. If your site has water and power, you have the full range of options. If it does not, we will point you to a self contained unit instead. That decision usually gets made for you by the site, not the guest list.

What Is Inside

Depending on the model: flushing toilets, waterless urinals, porcelain sinks with running water, air conditioning, interior and exterior lighting, full size vanity mirrors, hardwood flooring, ventilation fans and trash receptacles.

Accessible Trailers

Several of our trailers are ADA compliant, and we also rent standalone wheelchair accessible units. For anything open to the public, plan on accessible facilities from the start rather than adding them later.

Shower Trailers and Combination Units

We also rent restroom and shower combination trailers, used mainly for disaster response, long term crews and film locations where people are on site for days rather than hours.

Restroom Trailer Rental FAQs

What is the difference between a restroom trailer and a porta potty?

A porta potty is a single self contained unit. A restroom trailer is a towable structure with multiple private stalls, flushing toilets, running water and climate control. Different product, different price, different guest experience.

How much does a restroom trailer cost to rent?

Trailers start from $1,000. Price depends on stall count, how long you need it, servicing, and delivery distance. Our restroom trailer pricing guide breaks down what moves the number.

Do I need water and power at the site?

It depends on the unit. Some trailers need hookups, others are self contained. Tell us what is available at the site and we will match you to something that works.

How far in advance should I book a restroom trailer?

Four or more weeks for peak season weekends. Trailers are the first thing to go.

Are ADA accessible trailers available?

Yes, both ADA compliant trailers and standalone wheelchair accessible units.

Can you deliver to a site with limited access?

Usually. Trailers need level ground and room for the tow vehicle. Send the address and we will confirm before your date.

Portable Bathroom Trailer Rentals: FAQs

How much does it cost to rent a portable bathroom trailer?

Luxury restroom trailers typically start as low as $1,000 per weekend/event, depending on size, features, and service level. Shower and toilet combo trailers are quoted the same way. Request a quote for exact pricing in your area.

What's included in a luxury restroom trailer rental?

Most trailers include climate control (heat and A/C), flushing toilets, running-water sinks, interior lighting, and upscale finishes — some with hardwood-style floors, mirrors, and vanities. Delivery, leveling, setup, pickup, and standard servicing are included.

Do restroom trailers need power and water?

Trailers need a power source (on-site electric or a generator) and either a water hookup or an onboard fresh-water tank. We help you plan hookups, and can supply generators or self-contained options when utilities aren’t available on site.

How many stalls do I need for my event?

Units range from 2-stall for small gatherings to 10+ stall trailers for large crowds. A common guideline is one stall per ~50–75 guests for a multi-hour event. Tell us your headcount and event length and we’ll size the right unit.

Are ADA-accessible restroom trailers available?

Yes. ADA-compliant trailers with ramps, wider doorways, and grab bars are available, and are recommended for public events or when accessibility compliance is required.

When should I choose a restroom trailer instead of porta potties?

Choose a trailer for weddings, galas, corporate functions, and VIP experiences where guest comfort matters, or for multi-day and high-headcount events. Standard porta potties are a better fit for construction sites and basic outdoor needs.

How far in advance should I book a restroom trailer?

Trailers are limited-inventory and book up fast during peak season (spring–fall weekends). Reserve as early as possible — typically 4–8 weeks ahead for events, and earlier for holidays and major dates.

Do you deliver and set up the trailer?

Yes. Our team handles delivery, leveling, setup, and pickup, and coordinates placement, power, and water so the trailer is ready to use before your event begins.
